How to Take Care of Your Skin: Basic Tips

You want to have an elastic, young and shining skin, but you still don't have enough time to go for it? With the lack of enough time, the best solution is to keep the basics. Skin is a living organism, and it needs to be taken care of constantly. To take a good care of the skin you need sun protection, as well as a gentle cleansing of it. 1. Determine your skin type. It's important to find out the type your skin, which can be oily, dry, normal and combination.

Dry skin. If the skin has several breakouts, it lacks oil and is dehydrogenated, it means it's the dry type of the skin. Use toner that will help you to avoid the feeling of a dehydrogenated skin; alcohol-based toners will dry it even more, so that while choosing any make-up product or toners, just exclude the ones which contain alcohol.

Oily skin. This type of skin is inclined to get dirt on it due to its shining oil all the time. It's peculiar for the oily skin to have blackheads, whiteheads and pimples most of the time. The treatment includes washing the face twice a day with warm water and using an alcohol-free toner, which will help to decrease the amount of the additional residues.

Normal Skin. The normal type of the skin is considered to change as the seasons change; oily in summer and dry in winter. The normal type of skin is sometimes called combination, as well. While cleansing the face be sure that it is supposed to be for a normal skin care.  Do not forget to use alcohol-free toners to keep the skin hydrated when  it's dry.

Combination. In this case there are two extreme types of skin on the face; one part of the face is dry, while nearby chin or the nose there is acne covered with oil. The treatment is the same as described above, though, in case it's a severe situation, one will need to consult a dermatologist.

2. Sun protection. It is very important to protect your skin from the unhealthy rays and the effects of the sun. The right care of the skin against sun exposure will help your skin to be free from wrinkles, aging, undesirable spots, as well as the risk of cancer.
Keep measures. Do not over cleanse or overwash the face, as it will result in dry skin even if it's an oily skin type, and for the dry one you will not have the desired effect when on extremes.
