The Best Swimsuit vs. Confidence

We love to entertain ourselves in summer - enjoy the sun, the lake and different types of outdoor activities, barbecue inclusive. However, one thing still bothers - the body shape after a long winter and how the swimsuit will fit. Indeed, women get frustrated before putting on a swimsuit – will it look good, or…? Then the idea of getting the right swimsuit put women in stress.

It is hard to choose the right swimsuit, as sometimes you have to  hide the problematic parts of your body nicely and vice versa show the very parts that you find nicer. One thing is clear here, the swimsuit should fit women so that they feel pretty confident in it.
Below, the author describes the very tips that can help most women to find the right swimsuit according to their body type which are pear shape, apple shape, hourglass and straight and athletic types.
Usually pear shaped are considered women who have a small chest and waist. Pear shaped are those who have full hips, butt and thighs. For pear shape body, it is advised to wear a bikini and top with ornaments so that it can attract one's chest. Dark colors on the bottom can somehow cover the hips. Tankini with miniskirt will do well too, as it will cover the upper thighs and the tank will show the body even longer. However, with tankini or bikini the boyshorts will not fit well as they would badly highlight the hips. A suite with diagonal stripes can fit pretty well too, since the lines will attract the waist. In general, the perfect swimsuit will fit the best as it would not only highlight the chest, but minimize the hips and butt, as well.
Apple shaped are considered women who have wider shoulders, chest and waist than their hips and butt are. For this body supportive and slimming swimsuits are recommended. Swimsuits that will divide the waist and hips will fit pretty well. Hence, women with this type of  body should choose a swimming suite with shirring down the sides and at the waist. To stress the chest and legs, women should take suites with plunging neckline and high cut thigh. Bikini with darkly colored halter and printed bottom that cover the shape will fit well for this type of body.
Hourglass body type are considered women with proportionate chest and hips and pretty small waist. One with this type of body should wear a swimsuit that will emphasize the natural curves of the body and waist. To stress the waist, bikini with a matching pint on top and bottom will fit well. In addition, bikini bottom with thin strings will show the hips wider and hide the hourglass shape. Contrary to this, the hipsters or boyshorts with wide sides will show the hips less curvy. It should be noted that women with this shape have a big variety of choices.
Athletic and straight women are those with narrow chest and hips and perhaps would like to look a bit curvy. Swimsuits with halter or triangle tops will look pretty well for this type of body. Low-rise boyshorts or hipsters, monokini with cutouts, as well as bikini tops with ruffles or fringe, will not look bad. They will give the body effect of a feminine figure.  However, bandeau tops are not encouraged since they can minimize the curves.

Despite all the advice provided above one should remember whatever body one has and what swimsuit one will wear, it is important to bear in mind that here the confidence is the most important.

Body Shape: Is it Important?

No doubt what people mostly care about is the shape of their body. Indeed, we think a lot about every single part of our body and try to judge how beautiful our nose, eyes, skin, etc are. Moreover, these thoughts never leave us alone.  Hence, we start to compare the beauty of our body with the others and share our thoughts about with our family members and friends. We even stick on those thoughts and carry those with us especially when we are criticized for this or that part of our body.

There are always close friends with who one loves to share such thoughts with. Hence, the story of a woman says, how some time ago she was dining with her two friends and discussing those parts of their body they were worrying about mostly. And not only, they were discussing about their eating habits, the type of food they eat and they were pretty happy to share all of that. They were discussing how hard it was to acknowledge how a particular part was big or small and another part was a bit fat or slim, or how the clothes would fit or and sometimes even would not,  which part was more fatter and how to overcome all of those. As a result, the most painful thing would become what the others think of all of those.

The woman claims it is not right to live with the idea what the others think about you. She fights for not serving an example for her two daughters. She is pretty confident she wants her daughters be certain in what they want in their lives.
She considers it is not easy to be a woman, especially if you are pretty famous, since one has to have a nice body, should be nicely dressed up; hair should be necessarily styled with a nice make-up, and etc. God only knows how the press will react if you do not control all of these.
The woman had convinces she always controlled her weight. The only thing that bothered her and the most she suffered from was her nose. Her classmates at school were laughing at her nose. And not only, people in the bus would tease her as well and she would have a hard time thinking she was the ugliest girl in the district.

When she grew up, she stopped worrying about her nose as she had decided to do a surgery. Husband and parents were against that and wouldn't find her nose that ugly. However, having all the necessary means she was firm in her decision to do the surgery with a big hope that her life would change after.  Moreover, after suffering that much in her childhood, she had dreamt of having a nice nose for so many years. And, she finally did that in February of 2004.

The results did not disappoint her, though the change was not that significant. Some friends would not even notice she had gone through all of that. Though she had got a different look, she would feel she had the same big nose as always.  Her friends would experience the same. When they would lose some weight, they would still feel they were fat as usual.  This was because they had been told so since childhood and they would continue to believe in that. As she confessed, she loved her skin more than when he was younger. After having the kids, her body had changed a lot. She even would be pretty happy to see herself thinner, but she had confessed she loved eating and could not stop it.  She also told she had Botox several times and had planned to have that again. In general, she mostly preferred to be healthier.

Most important of all, as she admits, is that she tries to figure out how to grow her daughters up so that they become healthy and self-assured people. She tries to grow in them a lot of confidence, as considers the recent is more important than being slim. She speaks her daughters out about their beauty and taste even if the clothes they wear do not really fit them nicely. This way she tries to make them fearless. According to her  it does not matter if one is tall or short, fat or thin, with big or small nose. It is really essential to acknowledge that the most important thing among all of these is treatment - when everybody is kind and concerned about the others. If so, we would live in a wonderful world.

The Magic of Natural Products; Simplicity of Men's Lifestyle

Laura Naughton, a designer and the owner of LKN studio, considers that men are quite simple. She describes throughout the article the simplicity of the men’s lifestyle and brings her husband’s example. She is almost sure that men are pretty uncomplicated and look for simple things that can be easily found everywhere.

Laura remembers how some five years ago her husband’s homeopathic therapist prescribed him natural medicine for his repeating sickness and confesses that the drugs helped him so that he started using only natural things. She informs that her husband is quite young, pretty handsome, and people around him usually ask what college he was attending. And when they find out he is 35, they are curious enough to know what his secret of being that handsome is. His answer usually is the use of organic and natural food only, however, he also stresses exercising and balanced natural diet. He nicely calls all of that “handsomeness remedies”.

Laura does not encourage people run to the drugstores for the medicine with true natural and organic ingredients.  She clearly explains that if the medicine includes at least one natural ingredient then there are no unnatural or strange ingredients that can bring severe health problems. She further brings the examples of synthetic chemicals that are used in products that can be harmful according to the Environmental Working Group (EWG). She further notices that these kinds of products are mostly personal care products.
Among carcinogenic ingredients that can cause reproductive and developmental toxicity and cardiovascular disease, Laura emphasizes Retinyl Palmitate. It is being used mostly in sunscreen, moisturizer and anti-aging products. Another one found again in moisturizers, body wash, and anti-aging products is Bronopol. This one is known as the cause of toxicity of liver, immune and gastrointestinal systems, as well as can irritate the lungs and skin.

Laura further opens her husband’s secret of looking pretty young, handsome and fresh. She encourages not to waste the time on trying to understand the names and the side-effects of all those strange ingredients, but to follow the examples of some natural home medicine that her husband is using. Thus, her husband advises to get Organic Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV), Organic Virgin Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil, Organic Raw Unrefined Sugar and Organic Bear.
Laura further explains what should be done with all the above mentioned.

For hair and scalp her husband would advise to take the ACV and mix 1 part of it with 1 part H2O. Then after shampooing the mixture should be applied on the scalp with massaging and be left for 5-10 minutes after which be rinsed with water without any conditioner. The mixture should be used for 2-3 times weekly in order the hair become soft and have a shiny look.
Hair will look smooth, soft and shiny if Coconut Oil is used 2-3 times weekly. Little amount of the oil should be applied on the scalp and through hair and be massaged. It should be washed with a natural shampoo within 30 minutes.
Organic Beer can be used for 2 times weekly in the shower after shampooing hair. Once the beer is poured on the scalp, it needs to be massaged and left for 5 minutes and rinsed with water.
For the skin to get relieved  it is advised to use ACV again, as mixed with H2O. If your skin is irritated because the ACV use, add more water to it.Quarter-sized amount of mixture should be applied on the face and neck by massaging and left for 2 minutes. Afterwards, it should be rinsed with water. For the effect, it should be repeated for 2-3 times weekly. It can be used for the whole body before or after washing, too. After washing, to condition the skin, Coconut Oil should be rubbed on face and neck. It can be massaged on the clean body as well in the mornings and at evenings.

Another interesting mixture to serve as a scrub is 1 cup of raw sugar and ½ cup of coconut oil placed in a glass jar with lid. It should be massaged on face, hands and feet and washed with natural soap. It will make the skin soft and silky. It should be repeated 1-2 times per week to get the real effect. The mixture can be stored for 6 months if kept in a sealed jar.
Finally, organic beer poured in water can make the skin soft and smooth. For that, one needs to bathe in the mixture for 20 minutes and dry off. The procedure should be repeated for 1-2 time weekly.

Overcoming Depression

Nowadays depression is not just a disease but a growing tendency. Almost 120 million of the world population suffers this devastating epidemics, and most of us take it as a “should be.” It won’t be an exaggeration to admit that depression is one of the most alarmingly developing and widely devastating diseases that can be.

It almost disables and disarms you. Every little thing becomes unbearable, and you dive into isolated apathy.
There is a number of traditional therapies and medications that indeed work, and you should turn to them if you feel the black dog of depression, as Churchill would describe it, getting to you.
However, before turning to therapies or medicine, you can try to cope with it by yourself in very simple and natural ways. Moreover, these ways are no less effective than the above mentioned.
The studies have shown that the folks from primitive tribes, leading the “caveman lifestyle” don’t ever suffer depression. So what if to take the simple activates of the cavemen and add those to our routine step by step.
A lot of research on this simple method gave the desired results and here are the basic activities that you need to make your own regular.
First and the most important thing is sunlight. Make sure that you get out at least for 30 minutes at daytime every day and get you a portion of sunlight. This will perfectly wind up your inner clock, charge you with vital energy and favor your good night sleep.
Exercise. Move your body; let your muscles feel alive.  If you don’t manage to add some aerobics to your routine, at least just walk. Walking will improve everything improvable in you and will make your heart work better.
Have a good regular sleep. Go to bed at the same hour every day and forget about TV before sleeping. Turn the bright lights down and sleep. A warm bath before the sleep also works wonders.
Be more social.  Involve the people you love or like in your everyday life and activities. Keep it simple, go for more fun, and follow up the cultural events.
Go offline and socialize with those dears face to face.

Drop the negative emotions and thoughts out.  Thoughts are a powerful weapon that can work both in favor and against us. Think positive and never know what antidepressant is.

Teach Others How You Should be Treated

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”  Holy Bible
“Love your neighbour as yourself.” Torah
“Hurt not others in ways that you yourself would find it hurtful.” Buddhism
These and many other variations of the Golden Rule in all the cultures, religions and societies have been the bone, the bases and the guideline to our relationships with the others in all the times and situations.

It stands to reason that we should treat others the way we ourselves would like to be treated. And blessed are those who manage to follow this wisdom and succeed in their correlation to the others.
Sometimes, however, we are powerless, just as the Golden Rule is.
It happens that  “the way you would like to be treated” is something different for you and the person the situation relates to.

What stands to reason is that we should teach the others how to treat us. We should react to every behaviour towards ourselves respectively. Never hesitate to pay the kindness for kindness and better for good and never avoid being strong on preventing wrong treatment and behaviour.
Dialog and not a blame game. We should be always ready to put a lot of efforts and do our best to talk the misunderstandings and misbehaviour over.
When you love yourself enough and treat yourself with respect, you automatically show the others the right way to approach you.
There might be different personalities we come across. Some of them will make their way up through your way down. They will feel stronger and more intelligent by making you feel weaker and less intelligent. And it is not a matter of you or their relations with you. That’s not a priority for this kind of people. Their priority is themselves and their domination in all the aspects and by all the means. This kind of personalities are hopeless to deal with or to try to teach them how to treat you.
While another type of personality is the one that never even suspects that the demonstrated behaviour or treatment might hurt you or might be considered an expression of disregard.
Here you still have a hope of getting them to the right point of interaction by dialogues, by explaining and showing who you are, how you treat them and how you expect them to treat you.
At some point, you might seem mean, and your attempts to put the correlation in the right route might meet different reactions, sometimes even not very positive. However you need to be active when protecting your place under the sun in a peaceful and respectful towards the others way.
Those who are worth it and for whom you are worth of working the obstacles out for the improvement and harmony will remain. Those who won’t let them go.
We very often go crucially wrong when complaining of someone treating us in an undesired way, while we have never tried to teach that someone the desired way.

Let’s try to keep the worthies around us and do our best to be worth having them.

Too Many Dresses In Your Closet?

The common habit of girls and women is that they have so many dresses forgotten in their closet long before. Generally, these are dresses from school dances or bridesmaid ventures. Most of the time one doesn't know what to do with them, whether to reinvent those dresses or to give to some close relative who will need them one day, or still keep in the closet to have the memories of the past years alive.

What about those girls who can’t afford to buy a simple dress for a certain occasion, in case when you paid a big deal of money for that of your one? Do you wonder where to send your dresses and to be sure that they will find a second owner, who desperately, wants to be present for the school dance?
It goes beyond saying that it’s expensive for a schoolgirl to purchase a nice dress- let alone prom. Isn’t it reasonable to make it available for your expensive dress to be helpful and useful for the second hand?
It’s encouraging when organizations or individual people may launch projects where they try to provide young girls second hand dresses. One of such organizations is called Adoptive Family Support Network (AFSN) in the USA. Due to their fruitful work, more than 1,000 dresses have been collected over the past two years with all at no-cost provided to
The organization Adoptive Family Support Networks is not unique itself, as here we come to see another organization called Hope Closet, serving for more than 400 girls from April 13-14. Hope Closet has the same goal as it is with the AFSN, which is to break the financial constraint for those school girls who cannot afford to buy a nice dress for a school occasion.
We may say that a prom seems like to be a milestone for those young girls who step into a new life. On the way to a new life, it would be disappointing to feel the financial hardship that their families experience.

Improving Your Relationship through Art

You may ask yourself whether it’s possible to improve one’s love life through art. I believe that it’s more than possible, that it’s more than real. We may bring dozens of examples that will prove this point; there is an art in making food and serving it to people. It is an art when you give a design to your home, dress your child, make an evening meal for a special person.
Each of us has his own way of expressing art within themselves. My favorite occupation is playing guitar, trying to increase my knowledge of chords and to manifest my emotions through music. It’s the happy faces of people that encourage me to share this art with them. These are good emotions, appreciation in art that brings out the love.
There are dozens of examples of how we bring art to our daily life. Imagine of the first date with your beloved, whether it was a romantic evening dinner at a restaurant with a bunch of flowers on the table and two glasses of red wine, or just walk in a nearby park, with a rose in your hand. The smile on your face causes a smile to your surroundings; it’s the art of communication exchanged.

It’s simple to bring art to our everyday, ordinary life. Here are a number ways to do it that I would like to introduce you:
•    Being aware of the local artists’ works by supporting it and bringing of a piece of his art to your place with a face smiling wide.
•    Putting art in places one could hardly think about; like putting an old suitcase of Grandmother in a corner, in the living-room, covering it with a nice texture with some old books on it.
•    Serving an evening meal with a nicely decorated table, relaxing music, without forgetting about a smile.
•    Having glasses already served to your guests and meals for them on the table ready beforehand.
•    Placing fresh flowers on the kitchen table, serving healthy raw food for a couple of times during the week. The flowers will brighten up the faces of your beloved ones and the raw food will be the sign that they are in caring hands.

I think these are just a small part of the daily activities to be undertaken, which will bring a lot of love through our lives. One doesn’t need to have all the preparation in advance to realize all these. A simple willingness at the very moment, and the art with love is on the way.

Top Home Gifts for All Seasons

It’s time to get a present for a special person? You are excited to search for the perfect gift for that special person, or you are in a panic because you don’t have enough time to go for shopping, and even worse, you don’t know what to buy. The article will help you to make a reasonable choice for a home gift within a reasonable time limit.

In our age of technology, we seldom print photos for albums and frames. It will be unique choice to buy a high quality picture frame which will be a good gift if filled with a photo of you and that person arising good memories. One can imagine, how many times we promise ourselves to gather and prepare the hundreds of thousand photos for printing, which are still in our computers, cell phones or USB devices. This way we are sure our gift will lighten up the person’s face.
The person receiving the gift, whether inspired by art or not, will enjoy a nice vase which accomplishes the texture of his or her place. To make it sure, that colors match with the home design, try to remember the dominant colors of the place and deal with harmonious colors at least.
Trays  are items which are never enough to have at home, irrespective of  their sizes and shapes. We use them to hold perfume bottles on dressers, as well as jewelry on bedside tables. A tray with handles are  useful in the kitchen; metal trays are helpful to organize everyday items inside. You simply need to put your imagination of the artist and a psychologist  into force  to have the right choice of a tray to buy.

Depending on the time of the year you may give preference to buying a throw blanket, which can be a warm color palette for autumn and winter, and light bright colors for spring and summer.

One may think that bottles just cause additional work to handle with the dust; that's a waste of time. At the same time, we should take into consideration, that nowadays plastic bottles are dominant, and a piece of glass is preferable as compared with plastic ones.
It’s a good idea to make that special person’s life easier by choosing from  a variety of outlets for direct USB port charging, which will be suitable not only for a man, but also for a woman.
Nowadays we don’t have enough time for taking care of plants at home, but at the same time we lack liveliness and the greenness inside the home when denying them. There is the solution;choosing a plant which does not require a great deal of time for the person to spend on it. For this reason, succulents are  a good choice.
A local artist’s piece of a small painting is a perfect choice instead of mass produced pieces from big box stores. It’s a good possibility for the recipient of the gift to manifest art in their home.

Cancer As a Gift?

People are not secure from the surprises prepared by the life itself. Thousands of lives are wasted to cancer, yet not many people deal with the reality created by the disease with an acceptance and ‘self-inventment.’ Thus, some people consider it as a gift, which causes into positive and good manners to live their lives.

A 38 year old woman, who has recently got her breast cancer diagnoses, introduces the following  cancer side effects. Here, she explains, “Cancer makes you

•    educator: It’s the time when one gets an enormous amount of information, tries to understand it, and after all passes that info to those circles of people who are concerned with your health conditions. This amount of information will help you to update your knowledge about cancer, even if you are not that willing to get all the details about it;

•   professional nutritionist: You need to take care of a proper eating guide and from a chocolate lover you need to become a green food fan. The hospital will be quite helpful with this special eating guide, or at least your friends and family are there to give you all the possible tips to deal with your cancer diet program;

•   psychologist: People with the same concern, whether it’s cancer that has stroke them, or an ordinary life problem, tend to  get together and to exchange experience on how they deal with it. In my case, it’s cancer, which strikes too many people. It’s a time when you become willing to be a piece of relief for those who share the same destiny with you;

•    Buddhist: Cancer disturbs all the harmony and peace within you; you try to find a peaceful place. One needs to be strong enough to cope with the ongoing procedures of operations, chemo, losing the lovely appearance and much more. The human body is fantastic as it can adapt to any circumstance, it has appeared in; these are certain tools that you develop within yourself to overcome the critical health condition. I have obtained these skills through Buddhism, which helped me to value everything and everybody around me.”
In conclusion, while reading those lines, one does not need to have any diagnoses to follow the points above. One thing that all of us need is to live well, to be good to the others and value life with all of its surprises.

Bedroom of Your Design; Easy Tips

In the hustle and bustle of our everyday life bedroom seems to be the small heaven where we are ourselves and where we do many things like relaxing, watching TV, reading, and many more. An HDTV Design Star winner Emily Henderson was hosted by “Secrets from Stylist,” where she shared her designer secrets to on how to create our own heaven at home.

The choice of the color of the room is quite important. Henderson  gives preference to bold variations blues, grays and creams. Your choice of the color of the room will determine the atmosphere in it; if you want to feel relaxed and calm you only choose lighter colorings of blue/gray. Your are hot blooded? Active? Then take neutral ivory like to feel warmer inside. To make the color of the room complete, you may put the final touch with a stronger color accent.
There is a set percentage according to which you should give coloring to your room; the dominant color of the room should be 60, secondary color 30 percent and an accent color should be 10 percent. To help you in the choice of perfect color palette for your room, you will need to select an item that you like and take out your favorite colors out of it as the base of your bedroom color palette.
Another pattern to take care of in the room is your bed and bedding. In case it’s the high time to change your mattress to have a better sleep, then take time to upgrade your whole bedding.
Enjoy the guide below and make your room harmonious like a pro:

•        First of all, you should take care that you have chosen proper sheets that will feel good against your skin. Decorative patterns would add a charm to your sheet, and it would not be only comfort to sleep in it, but pleasure, as well. Try to match it with your bedspread.
•        The choice of the blanket depends on the climate conditions you live in whether it should be lighter cotton or fleece blanket, as well as a heavier wool one.
•        The top layer of your bedding – the bedspread needs to complement the colors of your room. Moreover, if you have got the habit of spending time on your bed not open for sleeping, it’s preferable to have the bedspread soft and pleasant for your skin.
•        The final touch to finish your bedding is to add pillows and accessories. Put large pillows for backdrop and in front use your sleeping pillows. To accomplish it with an artistic hand, you only add a textured throw or silk quilt folded at the end of the bed.

After all, Henderson  suggests using mirrors as part of the decoration, which expand space and make the room lighter. This is a well-known trick by Antoni Gaudi, a Spanish Catalan architect, who gave preference to using mirrors to expand spaces in rooms.
